Urbanas hand store was burglarized during a brief break from work, according to a Champaign police report.
Police responded to the store at 1345 W. Washington St. at 2:37 a.m.
Monday and found the store locked with a front door that had been opened, the report said.
The store had been reported burglarised twice in the last week, police said.
Officers found evidence of the burglary, including a ladder, the register and a keychain with the suspect’s name and phone number on it.
Officers also found a number of other items stolen, including clothes, shoes, jewelry and purses, according the report.
The suspect, 23-year-old William B., is facing charges of burglary and unlawful possession of property.
