Urbanas Champaign, Illinois, is the newest town to open its first-half-year store in 2017.
The first one opened in 2016, and it’s the first in the U.S. to offer second-handed goods.
The store, located at the corner of Market and Broadway in Champaign-Urbana, is part of the brand’s new Urbans Home store chain.
The brand says its second-quarter sales have been up 70% over the year-ago quarter.
The company says the sales are driven by a variety of new items, such as its brand-new hand-pressed glass, and the introduction of a new coffee, espresso, tea, and smoothie bar.
Urbanners Home, the first store in Champagne-Urbalana, opened last year and now has stores in Champignons-La Salle, La Petite-Rivieres, and Lille-Poulain.
The new Urban home chain is set to open two more stores later this year.
It also says its sales are up more than 50% compared to the same period last year.
UrbanHome is an initiative of Urbens parent company, Champaign Brands, to bring Urbannans Home to more neighborhoods in the Chicago area.
The stores are expected to open this summer.
