Italia 3 Second-hand stores in the country, including an ‘I-feel-sorry-for-your-lives’ store, have opened up to deal in stolen goods, reports Il Sole 24 Ore.
The ‘I Feel Sorry For Your Lives’ shop is situated in the town of Sant’Angelo in the Tuscany region of northern Italy.
The shop was reportedly set up by the owner of a second-handed store, but there have been no reports of any thefts of the goods, according to Il Sole.
This second-hitch shop has now been closed for good, as well as the second-floor ‘Sneaky Secondhand Store’ which has also closed down.
The shop was set up after two years of work, and was open since November of last year.
It is not known if the secondhand store was owned by a third party, as this would require approval from the local authorities.
Il Sole 24 reported that a secondhand shop owner was recently arrested for allegedly stealing €25,000 worth of goods from a second, unnamed third-hand shop in Tuscanna.
The local authorities have not yet confirmed the shop owner’s identity, but have issued a statement saying that they were aware of the incident and were investigating.
